2019 NBA Playoffs

The 2019 NBA Playoffs began April 13 and have been thoroughly entertaining. The Milwaukee Bucks entered the tournament with a 60-win season, their first since the 1980-81 season. The Bucks faced the eighth seeded Detroit Pistons who would prove to be to underpowered and were swept in the first round 4-0. This marked the first time that Milwaukee has won a series since 2001. The Golden State Warriors entered the postseason as the West’s number 1 seed. The Playoff appearance makes a Franchise Record 7th straight post season appearance for the Warriors. Chef Curry and the boys from The Bay Area are in tough in Round 2 against James Harden and the Houston Rockets. Harden has been putting up record setting points for some time, including the first 4 games of their series against Golden State which is even at 2-games a piece. Over in the East, the Toronto Raptors, who seeded second only to Milwaukee with a 58-24 record in the regular season, made short work of the Orlando Magic, winning the round 1 series 4 games to 1. The second round for the boys from the North appeared to not be as much of a cakewalk, going down 2 games to 1 to the powerful Philadelphia 76ers, until Kawhi Leonard seemed to have taken over and they have sine surged back winning the previous 2 games, putting them one win away from a Conference Final appearance. Their most recent being the 2015-2016 season where they ran into the powerhouse, and eventual NBA Champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers. The current favorite bet for the NBA Championship outright winner is the Golden State Warriors at -125.
