The 11 million purse tournament is the highest level of golfs second Major of the year, following up the always challenging Masters Tournament. Last years winner, Brooks Koepka finished with a 72-hole total of 264 to set a PGA Championship record. It should be noted, that the 100th edition of the PGA Championship’s runner up was non-other than this years Masters Champion, Tiger Woods. Tiger lost the 2018 PGA Championship to Brooks by only 2 strokes. The Black Course at Bethpage carries a yardage of 7,468 yards, and has been host to two previous Majors, the 2002 and 2009 U.S. Open. While previously mentioned for his play at Augusta, Tiger is currently the odds-on favorite (+1000) having also been the 2002 U.S. Open winner at Bethpage. Dustin Johnson and his well-regarded long balls off the tee get him second on the odds list (+1100). While last years winner Brooks Koepka, is tied for the third favorite position with Irishmen Rory McIlroy (+1200).
